A 5K fundraiser is being hosted in Drumkeen to raise funds for a defibrillator for the local community.
The 5K fundraiser, hosted by Hup Fitness gym, will take place on Friday, September 29th, at 6:30 pm. Families are welcome to join and walk the 3 km route.
The funds raised from the event will go towards the purchase and installation of the AED which will be installed externally at Hup Fitness.
Louise Hayden, one of the organisers, said: “We believe it is important to have an automated external defibrillator within the village of Drumkeen making it accessible to not only the residents in the area but also the school, childcare centre, chapel and our gym.”
